A November of Gratitude

November is a great time to give gratitude.  I’ve never been into journaling but I decided to give it a try for a month as my intention was to train myself to see more of the good in every situation.  It’s really hard to stay positive all the time but by setting an intention of gratitude, one can reflect and see that there is good in every situation. Journaling doesn’t have to be much, maybe writing 1-5 things that you are grateful for each day.  I started a tradition at the dinner table where I ask my girls what their “rose of the day” was. It opened the communication for them to tell me what great things happened during their day. Now when we sit down to dinner, my girls are the ones that go around the table asking what every one else’s rose is.
